Nana Patekar recently praised Shah Rukh Khan as he recalled working with him in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman.
In an interview with a leading news portal, Nana called Shah Rukh Khan a great artist and revealed that he was the one who told SRK that he is going to be a big star someday.
To explain it further, Nana said, “Jab bhi milta hai, mujhse usi tarah se milta hai. Mujhe koi dikkat nahi ussey. Aur wo mera apna hai, mujhse chhota hai, toh mujhe dikkat kyu hogi ussey?”
Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992), a romantic comedy directed by Aziz Mirza, was the first film Shah Rukh Khan signed for. However, it was Raj Kanwar’s romantic movie Deewana (1992) that marked his actual Bollywood debut.
