South actor Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his forthcoming highly-anticipated movie Custody. Recently, in an interview, the actor talked about his and Samantha’s separation, stating that the two have ‘moved on’ with their lives. He also talked about Samantha and stated that she is a lovely person.
In an interview with a leading news agency, when Naga was asked if he and Samantha have moved on, he said, “Yes. It’s been more than two years since we separated and a year since we were formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life.”
Praising Samantha, Naga said, “She is a lovely person and deserves all happiness. It is only when the media speculates that things get awkward between us. In the public eye, that mutual respect is taken away. That’s what I feel bad about.”
On the work front, before Custody, Naga Chaitanya was seen in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in a cameo.
