Lord Malayappa Swamy Mock Hunting Safari in Seshachalam Forests | India News

TIRUPATI: Lord Malayappa Swamy went on a mock hunting safari inside the Seshachalam forests as part of the Paruveta utsavam on Tuesday.
Carrying forward the ancient tradition in vogue, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s officials and priests led by chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, in-charge EO V Veerabrahmam and Chief priest A Venugopala Deekshitulu carried the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy to the Paruveta mandapam and a series of rituals including the mock safari were conducted.
On the other hand, Andal Goda Devi garlands were carried in a colourful procession by Tirumala temple Pedda Jeeyar and Chinna Jeeyar Swami’s and adorned to Lord Venkateswara inside the hill temple on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, special pujas were held at SV Goshala in Tirupati in connection with the Kanuma festival on Tuesday.
