Lee Junho and YoonA starrer Korean series ‘King the Land’ trends as the most watched non English show

The latest Korean series making waves on OTT is 2PM’s Junho and Girls Generations’ YoonA starrer ‘King The Land‘. It recently premiered on a streaming platform and has quickly made its way to the top charts.
According to the viewing graph of the streaming platform, it is being reported that ‘King the Land’ owns a top slot in the most-watched non-English show.It has reportedly recorded 4 million viewing hours and earned the first spot in non-English TV shows list for the week of June 26 to July 2. This romantic drama narrates the story of a conglomerate heir Go Woon (Lee Jun-ho) and his tryst with Cheon Sa-rang (YoonA), who works at his hotel.
Soon after the show premiered, there was massive buzz about the lead couple dating in real life. It was reported that Junho and YoonA began dating even before shooting for this mushy K-drama. However, both their agencies had denied the rumours. YoonA’s agency SM Entertainment said in a statement, “The two are just close and the dating rumors are not true” while Lee Junho’s agency JYP Entertainment clarified, “The two are close, but upon checking [with Lee Junho], the dating rumors are groundless.”
