JR NTR to join Hrithik Roshan for ‘WAR 2’ shoot from March 2024 after he wraps up Devara: Report | Hindi Movie News

One of the biggest news of 2023 was that JR NTR is set to join YRF’s Spy Universe and be a part of ‘WAR 2‘. Directed by Sidharth Anand, ‘WAR’ starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff along with Vaani Kapoor. Hrithik will be reprising his character Kabir, meanwhile Jr NTR has a pivotal role to play in the film, reportedly. While these were reports, Hrithik and Jr NTR almost confirmed this news with their exhange of words on social media.
When Hrithik wished Jr NTR on his birthday, the ‘RRR’ actor had responded, “Thank you sir for your lovely wish! I’m going to soak in the day today…You should start counting down the days too…Hope you sleep well thinking about what awaits because I want you well rested at the yuddhabhoomi see you soon!”
Now as per a report in Pinkvilla, Jr NTR is expected to begin shooting for ‘WAR 2’ from March or April 2024 onwards. The report suggests that the actor wants to give all his time and attention to ‘Devara’ and once he wraps that in January 2024, he will pay attendtion to ‘WAR 2’. Meanwhile, Hrithik is set to begin shooting for the film in February 2024 after the release of ‘Fighter’ in January.
While ‘WAR’ was directed by Sidharth Anand who has also teamed up with Hrithik in ‘Fighter’ again, the sequel is set to be helmed by Ayan Mukerji reportedly. The ‘Brahmastra: Part One Shiva’ director was offered to direct ‘WAR 2’ after the release of his Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt starrer.
Reportedly, Kiara Advani is set to play the female lead in ‘WAR 2’.
