According to local media reports, Jacob Elordi, the 26-year-old actor of Saltburn, is said to be involved in a police investigation after an alleged assault took place in Sydney, Australia.

The Sunday Telegraph reported, per Daily Mail, that Elordi had an altercation with 32-year-old KIIS FM radio producer and TikToker Joshua Fox outside a hotel in East Sydney on Saturday. New South Wales Police issued a statement, revealing that officers from the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating the alleged assault.

The incident occurred on February 3, 2024, when Fox was allegedly assaulted by Elordi, although no injuries were sustained. Fox had approached Elordi outside the hotel where the actor was socializing and asked him some questions, reportedly angering Elordi.

Meanwhile, Elordi has returned to his home country ahead of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA) on the Gold Coast, Queensland, where he’s been nominated for his performance in Emerald Fennell‘s Saltburn, in which he co-starred alongside Irish actor, Barry Keoghan.

Additionally, Elordi has been nominated for a British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) award for best supporting actor, for his role as University of Oxford student Felix Catton in the film.
