The 2024 award season is about to commence, with the Golden Globes kicking things off on January 7, 2024. While stars will be out in force, the big question for many is will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make their red carpet debut at the show?
After spending New Year’s Eve together (look at that kiss!) and Christmas day, it feels like the pair are inseparable. Plus, it helps that it looks like both of them will be in California on the night of the Globes.
But is Taylor even nominated? Are they ready for such a big step?
While no official announcement from Taylor’s camp has confirmed she’s attending, here’s why there’s a good chance Swifties can count on her making an appearance.

Let’s look at the facts: While Taylor will be kicking off the next leg of her Eras Tour soon, her first date is not until next month.
The first date of her 2024 Eras tour is Wednesday Feb 7 in Tokyo Japan. It’s the first of 4 nights she’ll be playing at the Tokyo Dome.
So, could she be in rehearsals after a long holiday break? Perhaps. But either way, it’s more than likely she’ll be in Los Angeles, especially considering Travis will definitely be in town.
Turns out, the Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers at Sofi Stadium at 1:25pm on Sunday, January 5th.
In fact, as luck would have it, his game is airing on CBS before the Golden Globes. Seeing as Taylor hasn’t missed many games this season, it’s very likely Swifties will see her in Travis’ box.
Then, it would just be a hop, skip, and jump into makeup to glam up for one of Hollywood’s biggest night — or at least one of the after parties! Again, no official word has come from Taylor’s camp yet on if she’s attending, but when the stars are aligned like this, why the heck not!

Yes! Taylor is nominated this year at the Golden Globe Awards for her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film. The smash is nominated for cinematic and box office achievement, a new category added for the 2024 roster.
Other nominees include The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, John Wick: Chapter 4 , Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Barbie and Oppenheimer, which lead the show’s nominations list with nine and eight nods each, respectively.
It’s stiff competition, but she still has a shot!
