With the official announcement that Ranveer Singh will lead the Don franchise in the upcoming sequel, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is now dedicating his full attention to the development of Don 3.
Farhan Akhtar shifted his focus to Don as his other project, Jee Le Zara, which aimed to bring together prominent names such as Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif for the first time, encountered scheduling conflicts with its leading actresses.
According to a report by a leading news portal, Akhtar is currently working on reuniting his Dil Dhadakne Do co-stars. The Don 3 team has reportedly approached Priyanka Chopra Jonas to reprise her role. Preliminary discussions have already taken place during Priyanka’s recent visit to the city for a film festival.
Given the scheduling conflicts for Jee Le Zara, both Priyanka and Farhan’s teams are making efforts to make Don 3 a reality. However, confirmation is awaited.
