NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that he tirelessly serves businessman Gautam Adani.
Rahul suggested that instead of chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai” (Victory to Mother India), the prime minister should proclaim “Adani ji Ki Jai” since, according to Rahul, he is working for Adani. “PM Modi says ‘Jai Bharat Mata’ but he should say ‘Adani ji ki Jai’,” Rahul said at a Rajasthan rally.
He emphasized that the true victory for Mother India lies in ensuring the participation and well-being of the poor, farmers, and laborers.

Congress party’s work is to transfer money into the pockets of the poor, BJP transfer money into the pockets of Adani, says Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan

Accusing the prime minister of attempting to create two separate ‘Hindustans,’ one for Adani and another for the less privileged, Gandhi asserted that the prosperity of Bharat Mata depends on the inclusion of all sections of society.
Furthermore, Gandhi claimed that Modi is resistant to conducting a caste census, asserting that only the Congress party, led by him, has the capacity to carry out such an initiative.

The Congress party has consistently criticized the Adani group, alleging undue benefits from the BJP government and calling for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into allegations raised by a US research group, Hindenburg. The Adani conglomerate, however, has denied any wrongdoing.
