PUNE: A number of flyers trying to book tickets for IndiGo remained a hassled lot for around more than two hours this afternoon after its website didn’t allow them to book tickets.
Equally distressed were those who had to do web check-in. Nishant Jadhav, who was trying to complete his web check in at around 5pm said, “It was a major hassle. I tried multiple times but couldn’t complete the web check-in process. A message showing “upgrading” kept popping up in the website and same was the same on the airline’s web application,” Jadhav said.
Ajay Sharma, another customer said that he had been trying to complete the web check-in since three hours. “All attempts failed and I was really hassled. The airline is strict towards web check-in but with its system down, there was no one to help or assist. I tried connecting through customer service many times but calls also didn’t go through,” he said.
Sources in the airline said that the issue was pan India. “The website was impacted due to an upgrade. Presently things are back to normal and everything is working fine,” an airline official said.
