Manisha Koirala is all set to make her screen comeback with Heeramandi. During an interview, the actress shed light on her harrowing battle with ovarian cancer and how the same helped change her perspective towards her career. The star humbly noted that she has been “given a second life after battling cancer.”
Koirala also showered praises on Heeramandi’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali with whom she reunited after Khamoshi in 1996. She enthusiastically praised his growth as a director and his skill to make scenes detailed and perfect. Koirala also revealed that she enjoyed working with an ensemble of talented women in the production.
Heeramandi is slated to release on OTT on May 1. The cast comprises Koirala along with Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
While the song releases and posters have garnered much attention, fans are waiting for the entire series with bated breath.
