The big cliffhanger at the end of the two-hour season 19 finale was if Kim Raver‘s Teddy died or not.
Teddy was preparing to perform life-saving heart surgery on Sam Page‘s character Sam Sutton, but she collapsed and had no pulse. The residents continued with the surgery on Sam while Teddy’s husband Owen (Kevin McKidd) rushed to her side and attempted to bring her back to life. Did it work?
It seems she does survive because Deadline announced that Kim has already signed on to appear in season 20!
It was revealed that six cast members are signed on for the new season and five more are also expected to return.
