[ad_1]

PUNE: GoFirst on Friday evening said that all flights of the airline will remain cancelled until May 12.
Earlier the airline has cancelled all its flights till May 9. Due to operational reasons, GorFirst flights until May 9 are cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellations. A full refund will be issued to the original mode of payment shortly,” the airline announced on its social media handle.
As to how many people have received refunds remains unknown with the airline not commenting on the same.
Thousands of flyers, both flying or set to fly on domestic and international routes are hassled with the airline’s extending the date of its flight cancellations.
“What do we do? No one answers from their customer care even after an hour since calls are made. Their social media handle gives a robotic answer. I have to fly to Bangkok on May 13 and cancellation means I loose almost Rs 1 lakh without any surety when I will get my flight fare refund. I am contemplating to cancel my entire trip and bear the losses and have no choice,” a Pune based flyer said.
The DGCA has asked the airline to pay passengers the refunds which is expected to touch Rs 350 crore. The airline lessors have asked DGCA to deregister 22 aircrafts. More than 50% of its fleet is already grounded due to engine issues of Pratt& Whitney, the airline has said.
