Ghazal singer Talat Aziz to play Hrithik Roshan’s father in Fighter | Hindi Movie News

When it comes to ghazals Talat Aziz is one of the most recognized names from India, but of late, there has been a resurgence of acting opportunities for him. Aziz has already been part of two very interesting projects on OTT; Gulmohar with Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore as well as Scam 2003- The Telgi Story with Gagan Dev Riar and Sana Amin Sheikh. And it is now being reported that he will be seen on the big screen with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter as his father.

As per a report in Hindustan Times, Talat Aziz will be playing Hrithik Roshan’s father in Siddharth Anand’s highly awaited action drama. Talking about his role in the film, the legendary musician said that it was a great experience. He added that he, Siddharth and Hrithik were on the same page and he and Hrithik have some really nice and warm scenes together. Aziz is sure that people will love the father-son chemistry between him and Hrithik. He also added that Deepika Padukone also featured in his scenes with Hrithik.
Aziz also mentioned that he has been getting a lot of acting offers and is trying to strike a balance between his music and acting. He shared that he chooses only those acting jobs, which suit his sensibilities and which he can do justice it.
There have also been times when he had to turn down acting offers because of other commitments. He is leaving for a US tour next month and because of that he had to let go of a very interesting role since the dates for both projects were clashing.
Fighter is all set to release on January 26, 2024. It is being touted as India’s first, aerial action film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Sheikh and others. The first look of the film was revealed on August 15 earlier this year.
