‘Gadar 2’ box office collection day 3 early estimate: The Sunny Deol starrer does huge business on Sunday | Hindi Movie News

‘Gadar 2‘ released in theatres on Friday and the film has constantly seen an upward in the last three days. The early estimates of the Sunday numbers clearly indicate that the film has done some crazy numbers! It saw a growth of over 25 percent which is huge considering the fact that the film was already doing well.

It is expected that ‘Gadar 2’ will be scoring a big business in the range of Rs 52-53 crores on Sunday itself, as per boxofficeindia.com.

Thus, that will lead to a weekend number of about 132-134 crore nett. This is perhaps the best business for a Hindi movie post pandemic and it’s commendable when there’s also another release likeOMG 2 which is also seeing a good growth in the business.
The total weekend business of OMG 2 is expected to be in the range of Rs 38-39 crore nett. The trade predicts that the craze for ‘Gadar 2’, especially in mass centres, is so high that it would have made 25-30 crores more if it didn’t face competition from OMG 2. The Anil Sharma directorial has been going great in centres like UP, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar and Gujarat and in some areas may record the highest single day collections ever.
Meanwhile, the collections of OMG 2 have also seen a growth on Sunday. Overall, it’s one of the best weekends that theatres have seen in the longest time – with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, ‘Gadar 2’, ‘OMG 2’, Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer‘ setting up the screens on fire and collectively bringing in huge money for the theatres.
Now one can only expect the business to go higher with the Independence day holiday.
