Francia Raisa was asked about the status of her relationship with Selena Gomez amid all sorts of rumors and questions about their friendship.

If you don’t know, Francia donated her kidney to Selena back in 2017. They had been friends for years before the donation happened.

Fast forward to 2022, Selena gave an interview where she called Taylor Swift her only friend in the industry. After that, rumors erupted of a falling out between the pair.

Well, on Sunday (April 30), TMZ caught up with Francia and she did not dispel any rumors.

In fact, Francia might have added some fuel to the rumor mill with her answers.

“How’s everything going with you and Selena? Are things good with you guys?” she was asked by a paparazzo.

Francia then changed the subject, saying (via TMZ), “Sunday is so fun….I’m Francia, I’m hanging out with my dog.”

“Do you guys still talk?” she was asked again.

“Um, it’s a good day isn’t it,” she continued, before proceeding to talk about the weather.

The pap then asked Francia why she doesn’t follow Selena back on Instagram, to which Francia said, “Did you know I’m from the Valley?” Francia is likely talking about the San Fernando Valley, known to locals as “the Valley.” This seemed to be yet another way Francia refused to answer any questions about Selena.

She was then asked, “I can’t get anything about you and Selena?” and Francia responded that it was such a nice day out and she might go to the beach.

The subject then turned to the kidney donation, to which she was asked, “Would you do it again?”

Francia said she’d love to talk to people about organ donation, adding, “I would definitely speak to someone again about organ donation and the process.”
