Some LGBTQ NFL players have made headlines over the past few months. Earlier this year, makeup mogul Jeffree Star tweeted that he was spending time with his “NFL boo” and fans kept trying to guess who it was.

Now today, one of the players who recently came out, Carl Nassib, announced his retirement from the NFL.
