E-Court Initiative to Propel Legal Reform: 596 Positions Created for Streamlined Justice Delivery | India News

RAIPUR: To streamline legal proceedings, 596 positions have been created for the establishment of e-courts, facilitating efficient and transparent justice delivery, announced Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary while presenting the budget on Friday.
District and session courts will be established in the remote and final frontier district of Bijapur in the state.For this purpose, the creation of 44 positions and a provision of Rs 1.45 crores has been made.
For the establishment of 40 subordinate courts and 10 additional district and session courts, the creation of 360 positions and a provision of Rs 2.1 crores has been made. For the establishment of a fast-track court in the district of Mungeli, the creation of nine positions and a provision of Rs 0.33 crores has been made.
For the establishment of a family court in the Korba district, the creation of 19 positions and a provision of Rs 0.5 crores has been made. Family court buildings will be constructed in Mahasamund and Jagdalpur, as well as 24 locations for subordinate courts, making a total of 26 court buildings.
A provision of Rs 3 crores has been made for this purpose. Residential buildings for judicial officers and employees will be constructed, with a provision of Rs 2.1 crores made for this purpose. A provision of Rs 1.5 crores has been made for the installation of video conferencing facilities in the High Court building and for the setup of additional equipment such as live streaming and recording in district and subordinate courts.
A provision has been made for the creation of 596 positions for hardware engineers and data entry operators for the implementation of the E-Court Mission Project.
