Doctor Slump trailer: Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye heal each other in the new K-drama

The highly anticipated trailer of Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye starrer Doctor Slump is out now.

Doctor Slump is a romantic comedy that follows the story of two once-competitive individuals who come together and unexpectedly become each other’s source of support during a difficult time in their lives. Park Hyung-sik is set to portray Yeo Jung-woo, a successful plastic surgeon whose career is suddenly at risk due to an unusual medical incident, while Park Shin-hye will take on the role of Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist experiencing burnout syndrome.

The trailer reveals the complex relationship between Yeo Jung-woo and Nam Ha-neul. Yeo Jung-woo, admired for his athletic prowess, intelligence, and good looks, receives cheers from classmates. Nam Ha-neul, however, disapproves, expressing confusion about those who like Yeo Jung Woo. A similar sentiment arises when Yeo Jung-woo’s school ranking drops to second place.

As time passes, the two reunite amidst life’s challenges, embracing and shedding tears. Yeo Jung-woo confesses feeling relief at seeing Nam Ha-neul, while Nam Ha-neul finds comfort in Yeo Jung-woo’s words.

Doctor Slump will premiere on January 27, 2024.
