Dharmendra, on the other hand, looked handsome in a multi-coloured printed jacket and a black round hat. After making his magical presence felt on the silver screen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, Dharmendra will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film, where he will play the role of Shahid Kapoor’s grandfather. Actor Rakesh Bedi, who is also part of the project, revealed that he would portray Shahid Kapoor’s father, with Dharmendra essaying the role of the great-grandfather. The film is under the direction of Laxman Utekar and promises an exciting storyline where Kriti Sanon plays a character with a futuristic twist as a robot, while Shahid Kapoor portrays a robotics expert.

Before his return, there were speculations about Dharmendra’s health, with some reports hinting that he had traveled to the US for medical treatment. However, the actor promptly dispelled these rumors by sharing a cheerful video in which he appeared to be in high spirits, enjoying quality time with a pet dog. In his caption, he reassured his fans, saying, “Friends, after a delightful holiday in the USA, I will soon be back for my new film. This affectionate pet is smitten with me, haha.”
