Darsheel Safary reveals he never expected Aamir Khan to push his career after ‘Taare Zameen Par’; says he believes in earning opportunities through work | Hindi Movie News

Darsheel Safary made a mark in the minds of the audiences with his brilliant performance as a child actor in Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par‘. In a recent interview he opened up about why he never asked Aamir for more work after his debut film.
Talking to Siddharth Kanan, Darsheel said that he never expected the superstar to push his career after ‘Taare Zameen Par’.In fact, he revealed that he gets all shy and awkward when it comes to these things. The budding actor also went on to say that he has been told by many people in the past to contact Aamir for work. However, he feels these things should work organically.

Elaborating further, Darsheel added that he believes in earning opportunities through work. He doesn’t believe in having someone’s backing all the time. The actor also added that after ‘Taare Zameen Par’, all the projects that he has done, he made sure he sought blessings from the ‘PK’ star.

In ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ Darsheel Safary portrayed the character of Ishaan Awasthi, an 8-year-old boy grappling with dyslexia. Aamir Khan took on the role of Ram Shankar Nikumbh, an art teacher who played a pivotal role in boosting Ishaan’s self-confidence. Following his breakthrough performance, Darsheel Safary has ventured into various films, including “Bumm Bumm Bole,” “Zokkomon,” and “Capital A Small A.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, he was last seen in ‘Kutch Express‘. Directed by Viral Shah, the film also starred Ratna Pathak Shah, Manasi Parekh, and Dharmendra Gohil in pivotal roles.
