Crash: Watch: Pilots eject seconds before MiG-23 jet crashes during US air show

NEW DELHI: A Soviet-designed MiG-23 fighter plane on Sunday crashed into a parking lot during the 25th Thunder Over Michigan air show in US, the New York Post reported.

Both the pilots safely ejected the aircraft before the crash.
The video of the crash has gone viral on the internet, showing the heart-stopping moment when the pilots ejected from the malfunctioning aircraft just as it began emitting smoke.

The incident prompted Thunder Over Michigan organisers to promptly end the air show.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are facing a situation that necessitates the suspension of the show. Kindly proceed to your vehicles and calmly exit the airfield,” the crowd was told.
The crash occurred around 4:30pm near an apartment complex adjacent to Belleville Road off I-94, the report said.
The pilots were safely rescued from a nearby lake.
There was no one at the complex where the plane crashed.
