NEW DELHI: BJP’s Gaurav Bhatia on Wednesday slammed Congress and said that the party has no specific strategy for 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
“Their strategy is that there is no strategy. Their strategy is that there is no leader. Their strategy is that there is no agenda for the people of the country. There is only a dream,” Bhatia told Times Now.
Earlier today, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said the Congress, together with friendly parties, will form the government collectively in 2024.
“Kharge’s statement is very relevant for today’s politics because it’s an admission by the Congress party that they do not have it in them to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party and the charismatic, strong, dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Therefore, they are not asking others to join. They are rather begging,” Bhatia said.
In his remarks at the INTUC event, Kharge said everyone will work jointly and the Congress, together with friendly parties, will definitely form the government in 2024. “This will happen with everyone’s cooperation, collectively,” the Congress chief added.
Speaking to Times Now, Bhatia reiterated that BJP will return to power in 2024.
“2024 elections would be very decisive because India is moving forward and a strong message would be sent. We are very confident that people are waiting to bless Narendra Modi again for a third consecutive term. The people see in him a very trustworthy and decisive leader who has risen up the ranks through sheer hard work and is not a byproduct of dynastic politics,” Bhatia said.
