At 6:04 p.m. today, India’s Chandrayaan-3 rover made a historical landing on the moon. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Anushka Sharma, celebrated the global achievement on social media.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on July 14. The spacecraft was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota. The launch was successful and the upcoming landing is termed revolutionary for the country.
