Departing from its standard Saturday and Sunday airing, the drama aired one episode on Friday, one on Saturday, and two on Sunday. The decision proved fruitful as the latest episode of ‘Captivating the King’ achieved an impressive average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent, establishing a new personal record for the series, according to Nielsen Korea.
In comparison, ‘Doctor Slump’ experienced a modest uptick, garnering an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent for its sixth episode. Meanwhile, ‘Live Your Own Life’ maintained its dominance as Sunday’s most-watched program, achieving a remarkable nationwide average rating of 18.3 percent for the night.
Notably, both ‘Korea-Khitan War’ and ‘My Happy Ending’ were absent from the lineup due to the Lunar New Year holiday festivities.
