BTS’ Jungkook confirms to be enlisting for military in December, pens a heartwarming note to ARMYs

BTS member Jungkook has officially announced his enlistment for military training scheduled in December. The confirmation came through his post on Weverse on Wednesday afternoon, following BigHit Music’s earlier revelation that Jungkook, along with his fellow group mates RM, Jimin, and V, will be undergoing military service in the near future.
Sharing the news, Jungkook penned a heartwarming letter addressing the ARMYs in Korean that read, “In the coming December, I will embark on a new journey as I temporarily leave your side for military service. While conveying this news, one part of my heart feels heavy, but on the other hand, precious memories with ARMY come to mind, warming my heart.”
“Every moment we’ve shared until now has been the brightest time of my life. ARMY’s laughter, support, and love have led me to this point, supporting my dreams and silently walking with me. Thank you so much,” he added.
“During my military service, it’s cautious to ask you to wait for me blindly. One year and six months is a long time, so I can’t selfishly make such a request. However, I promise that when I return, I will stand on the stage from where I left, having grown even more,” Jungkook stated.

Concluding the letter, the Golden maknae wrote, “During this time, I hope laughter and happiness always fill the lives of ARMY. I wish for your health and the beauty of your daily lives to continue. I will deeply miss you while waiting for the day we meet again to share new stories. Take care of yourselves, stay healthy, and don’t be sick. I love you.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jungkook recently hosted his first solo concert titled GOLDEN Live on Stage in Seoul, South Korea, where he performed songs from his solo album GOLDEN.
