LUCKNOW: BSP chief Mayawati will address nine rallies and public meetings in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh between November 6 and 14, up from just two rallies that she had addressed in the last assembly elections in the state in 2018.
Party insiders said that in 2018, Mayawatihad addressed two rallies, in Satna and Rewa, which have OBC and Dalit voters in considerable numbers.This time around, apart from Satna and Rewa, rallies have been planned in Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Bhind, Morena, Datia and Ashoknagar also. This is being done to improve BSP’s tally in the assembly.
“The state unit is expecting a huge turnout in these rallies. This will help in amplifying the party’s message that it is committed to the cause of bahujan samaj,” insiders said.
