Britney Spears is speaking to God after her run-in with Victor Wembanyama‘s security guard.

The 41-year-old Princess of Pop was hit in the face by security after approaching the basketball player from behind while out in Las Vegas earlier this week. In the aftermath, a video of the incident was released, revealing Britney‘s heated response.

She described her reaction (shouting “f-ck you all”) as “a cry out on all levels” in an emotional statement before publicly voicing a question for a higher power.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (July 8), Britney shared a simple post with an uplifting message: “You will smile again.”

She asked a potentially more fragile question in the accompanying caption: “When’s that God ???”

In her statement, Britney explained that she didn’t feel as though she’s “been treated as an equal person in this country” and that she’s felt “helpless” as a result.

“All people could hear was me saying f-ck you all … which was WAY BETTER THAN HITTING HIM BACK 🙄🙄 🙄 ,” she added.

Although a police report was filed, police opted out of pressing charges after completing an investigation.
