Bobby Deol has been vocal about how long his journey has been to reach the level of success he has been receiving recently with Animal making waves at box offices. He’s been extremely emotional and has been tearing up because it still doesn’t feel real to him.
Speaking to the media recently, he revealed why director Sandeep Reddy Vanga decided to cast him in Animal. He shared, “When I was playing Celebrity Cricket League, I didn’t have a lot of work. At that time, someone must have clicked my photo.”
When Bobby met Sandeep for the first time, the director told him showing that same photo that it was because of the actor’s expression in the picture that made him want to cast him. He further revealed how during one of the days at the shoot when Bobby was shooting an important scene, there was suddenly a thunderous applause and the director came and told him that it was an award-winning shot. The actor was overwhelmed as he confessed he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
