In a recent interview, Bobby has finally revealed the reason for the delay in ‘Apne 2’. This sequel was also supposed to star Sunny’s son Karan Deol. Bobby said in an interview with ANI that the reason for the delay is the lack of a good script. This time they want to make sure that if this trio comes together, it better be a hit. They want to be 100 percent secure of giving a hit. He further added that they’re definitely trying to come together and working on the script of ‘Apne 2’.
However, at the success event of ‘Gadar 2’, when Sunny was asked about ‘Apne 2’, he had said that they have a very beautiful script for the film and they would be working on it soon. He also joked and said, “For ‘Apne 2’, I have a very beautiful story. It’s the extension of the family values we had in the first part. Mujhe lagta hai kuch actresses thi joh maa ka role karne se manaa kar rahi thi, shayad ab karengi. There were some actresses who refused to play a mother’s role on-screen. They might agree now.”
