Bhumi Pednekar shares selfies from the hospital bed, reveals she has been diagnosed with dengue

Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing her battle with dengue for over a week. Posting pictures from her hospital bed, she described the past days as “extremely tough” for both her and her family.

In her hospital selfies lying in a white gown, she expressed, “Ek Dengue ke machar ne, mujhe 8 din ka massive torture de diya. But today I woke up feeling like a WOW, so I had to click a selfie.”

She urged everyone to be cautious, emphasising the need to boost immunity. “Guys be careful, cause the last few days were extremely tough for my family and I. Mosquito repellent’s are a must right now. Keep your immunity up. High pollution levels have most of our immunities compromised. Quite a few people I know have gotten dengue recently.”

Expressing gratitude, she thanked the hospital’s doctors and staff for their care. “Yet again ek invisible virus ne halat kharab kar di 🙂 Thank you my doctors for taking such good care of me @hindujahospital @bajankhusrav #DrAgarwal. Big shout out to the nursing, kitchen and cleaning staff that were so kind and helpful. Most of all Maa, samu and my Tanu @sumitrapednekar @samikshapednekar @tanumourya745,” she wrote.

Bhumi Pednekar was recently seen in The Ladykiller alongside Arjun Kapoor, which hit theaters on November 3. Before that, she featured in Karan Boolani’s Thank You For Coming, co-starring Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi. Her upcoming projects include Bhakshak, produced by Gauri Khan, and Meri Patni Ka Remake.
