VISAKHAPATNAM: The Education Minister and Cheepurupalli YSRCP candidate, Botsa Satyanarayana, alleged that Prasanth Kishore’s team leveled baseless allegations against civil services officials. He stated that civil servants, including IAS and IPS officials, have been working in various governments under different chief ministers for many years. Levelling allegations against all officials is not correct if one or two have committed mistakes, he said.
Addressing the media persons here on Monday, Minister Botsa accused opposition parties of levelling baseless allegations against the YSRCP government. He said the state has been making progress in poverty alleviation, employment generation, education, and health sectors. The state is now in the fourth spot in GDP, up from the 16th place. The purchasing power of the public has enhanced due to welfare schemes.
“P K was with YSRCP, and the party knew about him very well. Because of that, YSRCP has taken its own vision, not implementing PK’s advice 100%,” Botsa said.
“Everyone says that we are borrowing money. How will Chandra Babu give pensions of Rs. 4000 every month without borrowing money? We have not stopped welfare schemes even during Covid-19. Jagan focused on welfare and development while Naidu focused on Amaravathi. Jagan’s reforms and welfare schemes have brought results. Creating wealth means not just Amaravathi. Naidu is not a leader, and Pavan has no stability. We will complete Polavaram and Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanti very soon,” Minister Botsa said.
