Avika Gor reveals she was replaced in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim at the last minute | Hindi Movie News

Avika Gor, who is known for her roles in popular TV shows like Balika Vadhu and Sasural Simar Ka, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Krishna Bhatt‘s directorial debut 1920 Horrors of the Heart. Before bagging the film, Avika recently revealed that she was replaced in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim at the last minute.
In a chat show, Avika said that the team of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan replaced her and she doesn’t even know the reason for it.She was confirmed for the role and the paperwork was also done but she was yet to sign the film on the dotted line. She was going to sign the film the next day when she got a call from the team that they are going ahead with somebody else.
She further revealed that she faced similar situation with the same team where two weeks before Antim they called and told her that they have cast someone else. However, she expected this to happen and accepted the fact that it is the team’s call to take whoever they want.But Avika was hurt by these incidents and wished that it didn’t happen the second time. She doesn’t blame the team for all this because she understands that at the end of the day the film’s team has to choose their actors wisely.
The trailer of 1920 Horrors of the Heart was recently released and Avika had penned an emotional note about her journey. “1920 started a new chapter in my life and now another story set in 1920 will kick start in Hindi films the career of the immensely talented @avikagor and the gritty girl director @krishnavbhatt 1920 – horrors of the heart is written by my mentor and guru @maheshfilm – this time I play the producer – cheering from the wings for the emerging talent,” she wrote on Instagram.
The film will hit the theatres on June 23.
