‘Animal’ box office collection worldwide: The Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol starrer all set to enter Rs 700 crore club globally | Hindi Movie News

Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s ‘Animal’ minted Rs 35 crore on Saturday (day 9) at the domestic box office, taking the overall collection at the box office to Rs 400 crore.
Even after two weeks of its release, the movie continues to perform well at the box office taking the box global box officecollection to Rs 66 crore. The film is now steadily marching towards the Rs 700 crore mark globally.
According to a trade analyst, the film has minted over Rs 660.89 crore worldwide in nine days of its release. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer was released worldwide on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.While the film is enjoying success in theaters, some critics and viewers have criticized it, labeling it as misogynistic and graphically violent. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted the film an A certificate before its release. In addition to Ranbir Kapoor, the cast includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra.

In a recent interview with the news agency PTI, Bobby Deol shared his perspective, stating, “There’s good and evil in every human being, and what brings out the evil is a certain situation. As an actor, you think as a character. ‘I’m doing nothing wrong, I’m right in whatever I do.’ You forget how to judge what is right and wrong.”

‘Animal’ portrays a violent world intertwined with the complexities of the strained relationship between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father, Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. Ranbir’s character is depicted as protective and obsessive about his father’s love, resorting to threats against anyone perceived to obstruct his affection for his father.
