Animal box office collection day 16: Ranbir Kapoor starrer crosses Rs 800 crore worldwide!

Ranbir Kapoor has caused a rampage at the box office with ‘Animal’, which refuses to slow down! The movie has emerged as one of the highest grossing Hindi films worldwide.
Continuing with its positive trend on its 16th day, ‘Animal’ scored Rs 13 crore at the domestic box office. The film now stands at a whopping total of Rs 498.14 crore, reports sacnilk. ‘Animal’ is expected to cross the 500 crore mark this weekend.
In 15 days, ‘Animal’ had minted Rs 796.00 crore at the worldwide box office and after adding the figures of Saturday, the film is expected to have crossed Rs 800 crore on a global level! Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ starred Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ at the box office. This historical drama, helmed by Meghna Gulzar, has managed to earn Rs 71 crore in 16 days.
Soon after the film released, Rashmika Mandanna penned a note about her character in the movie, which has caused a lot of chatter. Her Instagram post read, “Gitanjali If I were to describe her in a sentence it would be the only force at home holding her family together. She is pure, real, unfiltered, strong and raw At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions And I remember my director telling me – this was their story Ranvijay’s & Gitanjali’s it was their love and passion, their families and their lives – this is who they are. In a world full of all violence, hurt and unbearable pain – Gitanjali would bring peace trust and calm She would pray to her Gods to keep her husband and her kids safe She was the rock that weathered all the storms She would do anything in her power for the sake of her family.
