Anil Sharma reacts to Ameesha Patel’s statement, ‘I will reject Gadar 3 if Tara and Sakeena have less screen time’: ‘Unke kehne ya sochne se kya hota hai?’ | Hindi Movie News

Gadar 2 may have become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time but Ameesha Patel is dissatisfied with her less screen presence. She recently said that she will reject Gadar 3 if there are not much Tara Singh (played by Sunny Deol) and Sakeena moments, which the audience missed in Gadar 2.
When director Anil Sharmawas asked about Ameesha’s statement, he told Bollywood Hungama that the actress has said a lot of things during the course of the film, which he would not like to comment on it.He added that he respects her and will continue to do so.
However, Anil said that the character was Sakeena was born from his heart and not Ameesha’s. “I myself don’t know what will happen in Gadar 3. Unke kehne ya sochne se kya hota hai? I am happy she’s so connected with Gadar. I’d like to thank them. Woh accha ya bura jo bhi bole, unka mann hai,” he said. Anil had said in his previous interview that he had chosen another actor to play the role of Sakeena as Ameesha was weak in acting. However, he finalised Ameesha for the role because of her looks and rich girl attitude.
He had also taken a dig at Ameesha’s attitude which creates problems at times. “Woh bade ghar ki bitiya hai, unke mizaaj thode bade hain, magar dil ki buri nahi hain, dil ki achi hain. Bade ghar ki beti jo hoti hai kabhi kabhi tunakmizaaji aa jaati hai. Hum log chote ghar ke log hain. Hum log pyaar mohabbat se rehte hain. Woh bhi rehti hain, but thoda sa attitude, ek ada hai unme jo kabhi kabhi tedhi-medhi ho jaati hai, lekin insaan achi hain (She hails from a big family, and she carries that attitude with her. I’m a simple person, I believe in living with love. She does, too, but sometimes her attitude gets in the way. But she is a kind person otherwise).”
Before the release of Gadar 2, Ameesha had said that there is no animosity between her and Anil Sharma. He said that they have a father-daughter relationship, they fight a lot, she blocks him on Instagram and WhatsApp and unblock him again.
