Alia Bhatt remembers father-in-law Rishi Kapoor on his birth anniversary, says, ‘Always with us’ | Hindi Movie News

The late Rishi Kapoor’s birth anniversary falls on September 4 and his family and industry friends remembered him a little more. While Rishi’s wife Neetu Kapoor shared a reel remembering the actor, Kareena Kapoor Khan also missed her uncle. The actress wrote, “Happy birthday Chintu uncle. Always in our heart! Miss you.”
Meanwhile, Rishi’s daughter-in-law Alia has also shared a picture in his memory. Alia dropped a picture from her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor where he can be seen holding Rishi’s picture. She said, “Always with us…always” with a white heart. Alia and Ranbir had gotten married in April 2022 and during their sangeet function, Ranbir was seen dancing with his father’s picture in his hand.

Ranbir and Alia were dating with Rishi passed away and Alia was also in USA for a long with him where his treatment was going on. She was already like family to the Kapoors, even before the couple tied the knot.
Meanwhile, Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani also paid tribute to her father as she played his song on piano. She played the tune of Karz and wrote, “For my father❤️ #karztune🎶🖤🎵 #playpianobyear”

Alia dropped hearts on this post. Rishi Kapoor had passed away on April 2020 after a long struggle with Leukemia. While earlier, he was undergoing a treatment in the the USA, he breathed his last at the Reliance Hospital in South Mumbai. Rishi’s last movie was ‘Sharmaji Namkeen‘ where he could only shoot half the movie. He was replaced by Paresh Rawal in the rest of the film, which had released in 2022.
