Akshay Kumar to release his next film after six months’ gap as suggested by his fans: Report | Hindi Movie News

Akshay Kumar has fulfilled the hopes of his fans by releasing his long-awaited movie, ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan,’ after a considerable break. He stars alongside Tiger Shroff in the film, which is expected to be released in April 2025.
The movie is set to hit the screens six months after Akshay Kumar’s last film, ‘Mission Raniganj.’ This intentional gap aims to prevent a crowded lineup of movie releases within a short period, a situation that occurred in 2022 with films such as ‘Bachchhan Paandey,’ ‘Samrat Prithviraj,’ ‘Raksha Bandhan,’ ‘Cuttputlli,’ and ‘Ram Setu,’ all of which didn’t fare well at the box office.

Ali Abbas Zafar is both the writer and director of “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan.” The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the action thriller also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in a significant role.

On Wednesday, Prithviraj Sukumaran posted a glimpse from the dubbing session of the film. In the caption, he wrote, “Dubbing #BMCM Teaser. @aliabbaszafar This is (fire emoticons) See you in the theatres on Eid 2024.”

The film’s makers had initially revealed its release date by securing the Eid 2024 slot, typically reserved for Salman Khan releases. The team previously shared still images of Akshay and Tiger engaged in impressive action scenes, heightening the anticipation. According to reports, the teaser for the film is expected to be released on Republic Day in 2024.
