After Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar has now joined the league of superstars owning a cricket team. The actor recently bought the Sringar team in the newly constituted Indian Street Premier League, which is a first of its kind tenner ball T10 cricket tournament, that will take place inside a stadium from March 2nd to March 9th, 2024.

The Khiladi Kumar who is known for his love for sports and martial arts, talking about his new collaboration said, “I am thrilled to be part of the ISPL and the Srinagar team.This tournament promises to be a game-changer in the world of cricket, and I am looking forward to being at the forefront of this unique sporting endeavour.”
After a difficult year at the box office, Akshay Kumar is looking forward to a blockbuster 2024, where his first release would be Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which is scheduled for Eid release in April. In the film, he will be joined by Tiger Shroff and one can expect larger than life action sequences to be part of the film. Former Miss World Manushi Chillar is paired opposite him. After that, he will be seen in a guest appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again where he will be reprising the role of Veer Sooryvanshi who will help out Ajay Devgn in his mission against Jackie Shroff’s character. He also has Sky Force with Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, which is based on a real life incident.
