After debut with ‘The Archies’, Agastya Nanda to start shooting for Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Ekkis’ in January | Hindi Movie News

After making his big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘The Archies’, Amitabh Bachchan‘s grandson Agastya Nanda is all set with his second film, which is with none other than Sriram Raghavan. The young lad has been roped in for ‘Ekkis‘.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Agastya will kick-start shooting for the film in January 2024. The report also stated that he has attended several acting workshops with the Sriram and specially trained acting coaches to polish his body language and step into the shoes of India’s most celebrated war hero, Arun Khetarpal.

Additionally, the report indicated that Agastya Nanda will dedicate December and the initial weeks of January to thoroughly engage with the script. This period will also involve intensive workshops to hone his skills and rehearse for the forthcoming filming schedule. Sriram Raghavan, the director, specifically sought a young actor for the role of Arun Khetarpal, and he believes that Agastya is the perfect fit for the character. After months of meticulous preparation, Sriram and Agastya are poised to embark on the cinematic journey of bringing this heroic tale to life on the big screen.

Notably, Agastya is set for a significant transition, shifting from portraying a soft character in ‘The Archies’ to taking on the challenging role of an Army Officer in ‘Ekkis.’ Sriram Raghavan, in crafting this biopic, aims to spotlight the poignant father-son dynamic set against the backdrop of the 1971 War. This venture marks the second collaboration between Sriram Raghavan and producer Dinesh Vijan, following their successful partnership on ‘Badlapur’ in 2015.
