The world premiere of the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starring film Adipurush will take place at the Tribeca Festival in New York. The mythological drama’s creators announced the same, revealing that it will screen on June 13 at the esteemed festival. Adipurush, which was directed by Om Raut, also stars Saif Ali Khan.
After its teaser was released last year, Adipurush has continued to make news. Sharing his excitement about the news, Prabhas said, “I am honoured that Adipurush will have its World Premiere At The Tribeca Festival, New York. It’s an absolute privilege to be a part of a project that mirrors the ethos of our nation. To see our Indian films, especially one that is so close to me, Adipurush, reach the global stage makes me extremely proud not only as an actor but as an Indian too. I look forward to seeing the audience response at Tribeca.”
Om Raut too expressed his joy as he said, “Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our vision of a story that resonates with the very spirit of India. Based on the epic Ramayana, Adipurush stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravan.
