Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will finally hit the screens on March 8. According to early estimates, the Luv Ranjan directorial is set to earn Rs 12-13 crore on its opening day.
The advance booking, which had opened a few days ago, seems to have helped the film get a double digit number at the box office on day 1. The film is expected to score beyond Rs 15 crore in the following days. Considering Luv Ranjan’s directorial, it may be able to pull the audience into theatres and it’s per day earning are expected to go up to Rs 20 crore during the weekend.

The buzz around the film seems positive and it remains to be seen if the positive word of mouth will translate into big collections. Ranbir and Shraddha’s fresh pairing may also lure the audience into theatres.

Luv Ranjan’s last directorial Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety had managed to earn over Rs 6 crore on the first day of its release. Now that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is getting a solo release with no major releases to compete, the film should get a good start at the box office.

Besides Ranbir and Shraddha, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar also stars stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi.
