Josh Gad Confirms He’s Not Actually Starring in ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ Movie (For Now, At Least)

Sorry, but that live-action The Hunchback of Notre Dame movie isn’t actually being made.

A fan-made movie poster has been floating around the internet showing a star-studded cast attached to the proposed Disney film, which allegedly had a release date for 2025.

Josh Gad was listed on the poster, seemingly set to play the lead character Quasimodo with Gal Gadot as Esmeralda.

Other cast members included on the poster included Chris Evans, Peter Capaldi, Imelda Staunton, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Black, and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Josh initially shared the poster on Instagram and led fans to believe it was true, including Julianne Hough who commented, “Oh.my.GAD!!!!!!” He later edited the caption of the post to confirm it’s not actually happening… for now, at least.
