It’s the season of love, but photographer and artist Sarah Bahbah has been capturing the feeling — in its many forms — for years. And now, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Bahbah’s fine-art photography book “Dear Love” is giving fans a deeper look into her process and how her distinct eye brought some of her most memorable photo series to life.

“Dear Love,” which couples 600 photos with an autobiography of the Palestinian/Jordanian-Australian director, highlights her often-ambitious art series, which have featured many of the industry’s brightest young stars. These include “Fool Me Twice” star Noah Centineo and “13 Reasons Why”‘s Alisha Boe and stills from 2020’s music video for Kygo’s “What’s Love Got to Do with It” remix starring Laura Harrier, which Bahbah directed.

Alongside the images — which feature Bahbah’s signature captions — “Dear Love” includes poetry and journal entries, behind-the-scenes stories, and the artist’s own personal analysis of her creative process. Topics feature an array of both the heavy and light, like love, heartbreak, trauma, healing, mental illness, and sex. Fans can see how Bahbah’s art has evolved over the years, all while oogling some of Hollywood’s prettiest people — Dylan Sprouse, Eiza González, and more.

Bahbah tells News JoJo she hopes that readers can see her humanity when reading the book, which is priced on a sliding scale of $60-$300, an initiative from the self-funded and self-published author to “make my art more accessible.” Keep scrolling for an exclusive News JoJo selection of the images in “Dear Love.” “Dear Love” will be available for purchase on Feb. 14.
