Ellie Goulding hinted at one of the reasons that she recently decided to delay the release of her upcoming album Higher Than Heaven – she loked down studio time with Calvin Harris.
The 36-year-old “Anything Can Happen” pop star confirmed that she was pushing back her album by over a month because “some exciting opportunities appear[ed] behind the scenes.”
Shortly after sharing the news, both Ellie and Calvin uploaded a pic together in the studio, hinting that they have another collab in the works.

In the pic, which Calvin shared on Twitter on Thursday (January 12) and Ellie uploaded on Instagram, she smiles next to a microphone while he appears to be snapping the selfie in the foreground.
“Back in studio!! It’s time for the third installment of our banging song trilogy,” she teased.
If you weren’t aware, Ellie and Calvin have already worked on two songs together. The duo went Top 20 with their first collab – 2013′s “I Need Your Love.” They linked up again for “Outside” the following year.
In other news, Ellie opened up about a major rumor about herself and two other famous musicians.
Meanwhile, Calvin celebrated an impressive accomplishment.
