Ben Shelton & Holger Rune Kick Off Kids' Tennis Day in Acapulco

Rising tennis star Ben Shelton takes a silly photo with a young fan during Kids’ Day during the Mexican Open tennis tournament – aka Abierto Mexicano de Tenis – in Acapulco, Mexico on Sunday (February 26).

The 20-year-old Floridian tennis player hit balls and played some points at the kid-friendly event alongside fellow Americans Frances Tiafoe, John Isner, Brandon Nakashima, and Mackenzie McDonald as well as Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanović, Denmark’s Holger Rune, Canada’s Denis Shapavalov, and Colombia’s Robert Farah.

In America, you can watch the Mexican Open on ATP’s official streaming service TennisTV.com!

Last month, Ben became the first American in 20 years to reach a major quarter-final before turning 21.

ICYMI: Be sure to check out tennis champs Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz at Acapulco’s White Party!
