Avril Lavigne revealed if there was any truth in a rumor that she had been cast in a Chinese reality show.
The 38-year-old “Complicated” punk-pop hitmaker was rumored to appear on the reality show Sisters Who Make Waves. She reacted to the rumor during a recent interview.

“Uhhh… It’s not true, that’s what I can tell you about that,” Avril told PopCrush during an interview earlier in the week. “Yeah, I haven’t heard any of that, not true… That’s funny.”
As the original report went, the cameo on the reality show was meant to coordinate with when Avril would be in China touring her latest album Love Sux.
Speaking of new music, she also told the outlet that she’s working on new tunes and hopes to get a new body of work out as soon as 2023.
“I feel like I’m in the zone and just following my heart,” she added.
