Amanda Seyfried almost had a wardrobe malfunction at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards!

The 37-year-old actress stunned on the red carpet in a 2020 Dior Haute Couture dress that had been cut from single piece of twisted, fringed gold lamé chiffon.

This cut, Amanda says, made it prone to a wardrobe malfunction as well.

It turns out that because her dress was cut from just one piece of fabric, it had kept ripping while she was at the ceremony, where she won an award for her role in The Dropout.

“I’m just going to take off my dress,” she had joked while talking with Access Hollywood, just as one of the sleeves started to slip down her arm.

Amanda added that the dress was actually ripping off of her: “Honestly it’s old, it’s beautiful!”

After her appearance chatting with press, Amanda had thrown on a black jacket to cover up what the dress was going to expose.

She was seen in the jacket on stage when The Dropout picked up the Best Limited Series award.
