Gangubai Kathiawadi was indeed one of Alia Bhatt’s best performances till date. The actress has outshined her potential as an actress in the film and the laurels coming her way are indeed the most deserving ones. 

Coincidentally it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday yesterday when Alia Bhatt clicked a lovely picture with the ace filmmaker. As the film completes one year today, Alia took to social media as she shared the picture, captioning it, “One year of our Gangu. #gangubaizindabad #ganguwalasafed.”

Clad in white outfits as is symbolic of her character in the film, Alia was all smiles as she posed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
